Purpose
- F(ab')2 Mouse IgG Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated pre-absorbed
-
Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Minimal crossreactivity against Human Serum Proteins Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Rabbit Serum, Mouse IgG and Mouse Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Rabbit IgG F(c) or Human Serum Proteins.
-
Characteristics
- F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgG (H&L) Fluorescein Antibody generated in rabbit was generated by enzymatic cleavage and subsequent separation from the Fc fragment.
-
Purification
- F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgG (H&L) was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
-
Immunogen
- Optional[Immunogen]: Mouse IgG whole molecule

Application Notes
- Application Note: F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgG Peroxidase Conjugated Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 μg of Mouse IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:20,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:500 - 1:2,500 Western Blot Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:10,000 ELISA Dilution: 1:10,000 - 1:50,000 Other: User Optimized

Background
- Because of their smaller size, F(ab)2 fragments offer several advantages over intact antibodies for use in certain immunochemical techniques and experimental applications. F(ab)2 fragments penetrate tissue samples and show better antigen recognition and signal generation in IHC. F(ab)2 fragments lack the Fc region and therefore do not bind Fc receptors which effectively lowers background staining. F(ab')2 Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or IHC and other immunoassays. F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgG antibody is ideal for investigators involved in serum component protein research.
