- Background
- Ighm protein contains Immunoglobulin domain variable region (v) subfamily, members of the IGv subfamily are components of immunoglobulins and T-cell receptors. In immunoglobulins, each chain is composed of one variable domain (IGv) and one or more constant domains (IGc), and Ighm protein contains Immunoglobulin domain family as well, members are components of immunoglobulins, neuroglia, cell surface glycoproteins, such as, T-cell receptors, CD2, CD4, CD8, and membrane glycoproteins, such as, butyrophilin and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan core.
