Human Monoclonal CCL23 Primary Antibody for FACS, Neut - ABIN4899629
Novak, Müller, Harrer, Günther, Carballido, Woisetschläger: CCL23 expression is induced by IL-4 in a STAT6-dependent fashion. in Journal of immunology (Baltimore, Md. : 1950) 2007
CCL23 is posttranslationally modified by trypsin-like serine proteases and CCL23(47-117) might be a major active form of CCL23 in nasal polyps with chronic rhinosinusitis.
The coexistence of diabetes and oxidative stress independently affected CCL23 levels, while the presence of Cardiovascular disease and inflammation had no impact on its concentrations.
ADAMTS 8 (show ADAMTS8 Antibodies), CCL23, and TNFSF15 (show TNFSF15 Antibodies) are implicated in anti-angiogenic activities
Data show CCL23 stimulates chemotaxis of human THP-1 (show GLI2 Antibodies) monocytes and enhances release of MMP-2 (show MMP2 Antibodies), and suggest it plays a role in atherogenesis.
Overproduction of CCL23 in nasal polyps might contribute to the pathogenesis of eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps
Patients with systemic sclerosis who had elevated CCL23 levels had shorter disease duration, and a higher frequency of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Serum CCL23 level was increased in early phase of disease and could be a marker for disease activity.
Fresh eosinophils contained trace amounts of CCL23 protein. CCL23 was significantly released into the supernatant when the eosinophils were stimulated with GM-CSF (show CSF2 Antibodies) or IL-5 (show IL5 Antibodies) but not with IFN-gamma (show IFNG Antibodies) or immobilized sIgA.
The role of KLF6 (show KLF6 Antibodies) and PPAR-gamma (show PPARG Antibodies) in MIP-3alpha (show CCL20 Antibodies) transcriptional regulation, was determined.
CKbeta8- and CKbeta8-1-induced activation of ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 Antibodies) is mediated by the G(i)/G(o) protein, PLC (show HSPG2 Antibodies), and PKCdelta (show PKCd Antibodies).
CKbeta8 transduces the chemotaxis signal through the G(i)/G(o) protein, phospholipase C (show PLC Antibodies), protein kinase C delta (show PKCd Antibodies) and NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 Antibodies).
This gene is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity on resting T lymphocytes and monocytes, lower activity on neutrophils and no activity on activated T lymphocytes. The protein is also a strong suppressor of colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line. In addition, the product of this gene is a potent agonist at CC chemokine receptor 1. Two alternatively spliced variants encoding different active isoforms have been identified.
