In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Additionally we are shipping Homeobox A13 Antibodies (44) and many more products for this protein.

Findings indicated that HOTTIP modulated HOXA13 at both the transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels in ESCC cells.
HoxA13 increases myometrial cell contractility by enhancing the secretion of IL-1beta (show IL1B Proteins), resulting in an up-regulation of CAP and other proinflammatory cytokine expression.
using both knockdown and knockout approaches we show that Hottip expression is required for activation of the 5' Hoxa genes (Hoxa13 and Hoxa10 (show HOXA10 Proteins)/11) and for retaining Mll1 at the 5' end of Hoxa. Moreover, we demonstrate that artificially inducing Hottip expression is sufficient to activate the 5' Hoxa genes and that Hottip RNA binds to the 5' end of Hoxa
HOXA13 is involved in HSAinduced EMT (show ITK Proteins) in HKC cells and upregulation of HOXA13 exerts a beneficial effect in EMT (show ITK Proteins), which may be associated with the GR signaling pathway.
expression levels of HOTTIP and HOXA13 were both higher in gastric cancer which was poorly differentiated, at advanced TNM (show ODZ1 Proteins) stages and exhibited lymph node-metastasis. Spearman analyses indicated that HOTTIP and HOXA13 had a highly positive correlation both in non-tumor mucosae and cancer lesions. Collectively, these findings suggest that HOTTIP and HOXA13 play important roles in gastric cancer progression.
Down-regulation of HOTTIP and HOXA13 was associated with cell growth and cell cycle, and exerts tumor-suppressive functions in the genesis and progression of prostate cancer, providing a potential attractive therapeutic approach for this malignancy.
Atypical hand-foot-genital syndrome and developmental delay due to de novo mutations in HOXA13 and NRXN1 (show NRXN1 Proteins)
HOXA13 promotes glioma progression in part via Wnt (show WNT2 Proteins)- and TGF-beta (show TGFB1 Proteins)-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition
This pregnancy-maintaining regionalization of myometrial function may be mediated by HoxA13
Transfection of HOXA13 in HKCs could inhibit the degree of EMT (show ITK Proteins) induced by albumin (show ALB Proteins)-overload, possibly by increasing BMP-7 (show BMP7 Proteins) expression.
Data show that almost all muscle masses of the zeugopod (forearm) and part of the triceps contain homeobox protein HOXA13-expressing cells and/or their descendants.
Defects in interdigital programmed cell death and digit separation in Hoxa13 mutant mice may be caused in part by reduced levels of RA signaling stemming from a loss in the direct regulation of Aldh1a2 (show ALDH1A1 Proteins)
The data demonstrate that simvastatin contributes to prevent the progression of renal fibrosis by upregulating BMP-7 (show BMP7 Proteins)-mediated anti-fibrotic signaling and that one aspect of crucial efficacies is achieved by regulating HOXA13 and USAG-1 (show SOSTDC1 Proteins).
The results show that overactivation of hedgehog (show SHH Proteins) signaling leads to abnormal development of the female reproductive tract, altered levels of Hoxa13 and Wnt5a (show WNT5A Proteins) mRNA, and an aberrant inflammatory response to mating.
Data show that the extra-embryonic function of Hoxa10 (show HOXA10 Proteins), -11, and -13 genes stems from their specific expression in the allantois, an extra-embryonic hallmark of amniote vertebrates.
Data show that cis (show CISH Proteins)-regulatory elements driving Hoxd gene expression in distal limbs are present in fish.
complete NMR chemical shift assignments of the mouse HOXA13 DNA binding domain
HoxA-13 regulates transcription through multiple pathways
Hoxa13 has a role in the vascularization of the glans penis is also identified
Hoxa-11 (show HOXA11 Proteins) and Hoxa-13 are involved in the negative regulation of MyoD (show MYOD1 Proteins) expression in limb muscle precursors
In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. Expansion of a polyalanine tract in the encoded protein can cause hand-foot-uterus syndrome, also known as hand-foot-genital syndrome.
