More ELISA Kits for KRT6A Interaction Partners

Mouse (Murine) Keratin 6A (KRT6A) interaction partners

  1. Although K6a was not essential for mammary gland development, loss of both K6a and K6b (show KRT6B ELISA Kits) resulted in an increase in PR-positive mammary epithelial cells and decreased proliferation after exposure to steroid hormones

  2. mK6a and mK75 thus exhibit temporally distinct, and spatially opposed, expression patterns in the companion layer (Cl) during postnatal anagen.

Human Keratin 6A (KRT6A) interaction partners

  1. we here describe a family with pachyonychia congenita K6a, manifesting atypical symptoms of impaired wound healing and cheilitis.

  2. Keratin-derived antimicrobial peptides (KDAMPs) and their synthetic analogs exhibit antimicrobial activity against bacterial pathogens.

  3. CK5/6, but not c-Met expression, seems to be important in lymphatic metastasis

  4. Genotype-phenotype correlations among PC patients with codon-125 mutation in KRT16 (show KRT16 ELISA Kits) were established, while the phenotypes caused by the IVS8-2A>C mutation in KRT6A need further studies to confirm the rare feature of fissured tongue

  5. Data show that calretinin (show CALB2 ELISA Kits) and CK5 (show KRT5 ELISA Kits)/6 were positive in 100 and 64% of mesotheliomas, and 92 and 31% of reactive effusions, respectively, and desmin (show DES ELISA Kits) was negative in all malignant cases and positive in 85% of reactive effusions.

  6. We observed a higher likelihood of oral leukokeratosis in individuals harboring KRT6A mutations.

  7. Phenotypic differences exist between KRT6A and KRT16 (show KRT16 ELISA Kits) mutations support adoption of a new classification system.

  8. This report is the first case of pachyonychia congenita with laryngeal obstruction in which the gene mutation has been established (a deletional mutation in keratin 6a).

  9. Focal palmoplantar keratoderma is associated with mutations in keratin K6c in 3 families. 2 unrelated families have Asn172 del and the other has a deletion of AA 462-470. Review.

  10. these data highlight the possibility of a physiological role for K6/K16 (show KRT16 ELISA Kits) heterodimers in keratinocyte cell migration, in addition to the heterodimer's known functions in cell differentiation and mechanical resilience.

KRT6A Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. As many as six of this type II cytokeratin (KRT6) have been identified\; the multiplicity of the genes is attributed to successive gene duplication events. The genes are expressed with family members KRT16 and/or KRT17 in the filiform papillae of the tongue, the stratified epithelial lining of oral mucosa and esophagus, the outer root sheath of hair follicles, and the glandular epithelia. This KRT6 gene in particular encodes the most abundant isoform. Mutations in these genes have been associated with pachyonychia congenita. The type II cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 12q12-q13.
