High titers of both TYMS (show TYMS Proteins) and PDLIM1 serum autoantibodies were significantly more prevalent in breast cancer cases than in controls.
PDLIM1 was shown to interact with p75(NTR (show NGFR Proteins)) in highly invasive patient-derived glioma stem cells/tumor-initiating cells and shRNA knockdown of PDLIM1 in vitro and in vivo results in complete ablation of p75(NTR (show NGFR Proteins))-mediated invasion.
downregulation of PDLIM1 in colorectal cancer samples correlated with reduced E-cadherin (show CDH1 Proteins) and membrane beta-catenin (show CTNNB1 Proteins) levels
Our results identify CLP36 as an important regulator of breast cancer cell migration and metastasis, and shed light on how increased CLP36 expression contributes to the progression of breast cancer.
Femtomolar Zn2+ affinity of LIM (show PDLIM5 Proteins) domain of PDLIM1 protein uncovers crucial contribution of protein-protein interactions to protein stability.
Robust co-regulation of tyrosine phosphorylation sites has been revealed on novel protein interactions between EGFR (show EGFR Proteins) and PDLIM1.
PDLIM1 showed moderate parent-of origin effects for some single nucleotide polymorphisms in attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity.
Alpha-actinin-4 (show ACTN4 Proteins) and CLP36 protein deficiencies contribute to podocyte defects in multiple human glomerulopathies
results establish the CLP-36 PDZ-LIM protein as an adapter, recruiting the Clik1 kinase to actin stress fibers in nonmuscle cells, and suggest that Clik1 represents a novel regulator of actin stress fibers
We present evidence for the exclusive protein expression of CLP36 in proliferative and early post-proliferative trophoblast cells.
Data show an inhibitory function of CLP-36 (show LDB2 Proteins) in GPVI (show GP6 Proteins) immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif signaling and as a key regulator of arterial thrombosis.
Clim1 (show LDB2 Proteins) protein plays an important role in the homeostasis of corneal epithelium and hair follicles.
The LIM-homeodomain (show LHX2 Proteins)-related genes Lmo4 (show LMO4 Proteins) and Clim1 (show LDB2 Proteins) are initially expressed by both CPN (show CPN1 Proteins) and subcerebral PN in layer V, and only during mid to late differentiation does expression of Lmo4 (show LMO4 Proteins) and Clim1 (show LDB2 Proteins) become largely segregated into distinct neuronal subtypes.
This gene encodes a member of the enigma protein family. The protein contains two protein interacting domains, a PDZ domain at the amino terminal end and one to three LIM domains at the carboxyl terminal. It is a cytoplasmic protein associated with the cytoskeleton. The protein may function as an adapter to bring other LIM-interacting proteins to the cytoskeleton. Pseudogenes associated with this gene are located on chromosomes 3, 14 and 17.
