RGS8 is a member of the regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family and encodes a protein with a single RGS domain. Additionally we are shipping RGS8 Antibodies (40) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 7 out of 8 products:
Missense mutations in RGS8 gene is associated with breast cancer.
Spinophilin (show PPP1R9B Proteins) was identified as an RGS8-interacting protein.
the crystal structure of RGS8 was determined in complex with Galphaq (show GNAQ Proteins).
ATXN2 (show ATXN2 Proteins) interacted selectively with RGS8 mRNA. This interaction was impaired when ATXN2 (show ATXN2 Proteins) harbored an expanded polyglutamine. Mutant ATXN2 (show ATXN2 Proteins) also reduced RGS8 expression in an in vitro coupled translation
increased miR (show MLXIP Proteins)-150 levels in Spinocerebellar ataxia (show USP14 Proteins) type 1 Purkinje neurons may modulate disease pathogenesis by targeting the expression of Rgs8 and Vegfa (show VEGFA Proteins).
RGS8 null mutant mice were viable, fertile and showed apparently normal development
This gene is a member of the regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family and encodes a protein with a single RGS domain. Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are regulatory and structural components of G protein-coupled receptor complexes. They accelerate transit through the cycle of GTP binding and hydrolysis to GDP, thereby terminating signal transduction, but paradoxically, also accelerate receptor-stimulated activation.
