The protein encoded by SEC24A belongs to a family of proteins that are homologous to yeast Sec24. Additionally we are shipping SEC24A Antibodies (19) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 4 out of 4 products:
the association between Kv1.3 (show KCNA3 Proteins) and the COPII cargo adaptor subunit isoform Sec24a
CstA (show CSTA Proteins), a secreted Brucella protein specifically interacts with human Sec24A.
Sec24 isoforms expand the repertoire of cargo for signal-mediated ER export, but are in part functionally redundant.
Hepatic LDLR (show LDLR Proteins) levels are up-regulated in SEC24A-deficient cells as a consequence of specific dependence of PCSK9 (show PCSK9 Proteins), a negative regulator of LDLR (show LDLR Proteins), on SEC24A for efficient exit from the ensoplasmic reticulum.
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a family of proteins that are homologous to yeast Sec24. This protein is a component of coat protein II (COPII)-coated vesicles that mediate protein transport from the endoplasmic reticulum. COPII acts in the cytoplasm to promote the transport of secretory, plasma membrane, and vacuolar proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the golgi complex. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
