Semaphorins are a large family, including both secreted and membrane associated proteins, many of which have been implicated as inhibitors or chemorepellents in axon pathfinding, fasciculation and branching, and target selection. Additionally we are shipping SEMA6D Proteins (7) and many more products for this protein.

Chicken Polyclonal SEMA6D Primary Antibody for WB - ABIN2783811
Toyofuku, Zhang, Kumanogoh, Takegahara, Suto, Kamei, Aoki, Yabuki, Hori, Fujisawa, Kikutani: Dual roles of Sema6D in cardiac morphogenesis through region-specific association of its receptor, Plexin-A1, with off-track and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor type 2. in Genes & development 2004
Human Polyclonal SEMA6D Primary Antibody for ICC, IF - ABIN4352640
Mortusewicz, Evers, Helleday: PC4 promotes genome stability and DNA repair through binding of ssDNA at DNA damage sites. in Oncogene 2015
Sema6D is expressed predominantly in the nervous system during embryogenesis, as determined by in situ hybridization.
Semaphorin 6D may play an important role in the occurrence and development of gastric carcinoma, and is related to tumor angiogenesis.
These findings suggest a mechanism by which a complex of Sema6D, Nr-CAM (show NRCAM Antibodies), and Plexin-A1 (show PLXNA1 Antibodies) at the chiasm midline alters the sign of Sema6D and signals Nr-CAM (show NRCAM Antibodies)/Plexin-A1 (show PLXNA1 Antibodies) receptors on retinal ganglion cells to implement the contralateral retinal cell projection.
A mouse null mutation of Sema6d results in ectopic placement of the shafts of proprioceptive axons and their associated oligodendrocytes in the superficial dorsal horn, disrupting its synaptic organization.
Plexin-S1, with Sema6D, exerts distinct biological activities at adjacent regions, crucial for complex cardiac morphogenesis (show XIRP1 Antibodies).
Sema6D coordinates both compact-layer expansion and trabeculation, functioning as both a ligand and a receptor for Plexin-A1 (show PLXNA1 Antibodies).
This work reveals a role for semaphorin 6D as a regulator of the late phase of primary immune responses.
Semaphorins are a large family, including both secreted and membrane associated proteins, many of which have been implicated as inhibitors or chemorepellents in axon pathfinding, fasciculation and branching, and target selection. All semaphorins possess a semaphorin (Sema) domain and a PSI domain (found in plexins, semaphorins and integrins) in the N-terminal extracellular portion. Additional sequence motifs C-terminal to the semaphorin domain allow classification into distinct subfamilies. Results demonstrate that transmembrane semaphorins, like the secreted ones, can act as repulsive axon guidance cues. This gene encodes a class 6 vertebrate transmembrane semaphorin that demonstrates alternative splicing. Several transcript variants have been identified and expression of the distinct encoded isoforms is thought to be regulated in a tissue- and development-dependent manner.
