The protein encoded by TSPAN6 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Additionally we are shipping Tetraspanin 6 Proteins (4) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 10 out of 46 products:
Results shows that TSPAN6 is a crucial player in Amyloid Precursor Protein (show APP Antibodies)-C (show PROC Antibodies)-terminal fragment turnover
TSPAN6 functions as a negative regulator of the RLR (show DHX58 Antibodies) pathway by interacting with MAVS (show MAVS Antibodies) in a ubiquitination-dependent manner.
Tspan6 KO mice show normal locomotor behaviour and no defects in hippocampus-dependent memory tests.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein and is highly similar in sequence to the transmembrane 4 superfamily member 2. The use of alternate polyadenylation sites has been found for this gene.
