More Proteins for Tripartite Motif Containing 15 (TRIM15) Interaction Partners

Human Tripartite Motif Containing 15 (TRIM15) interaction partners

  1. TRIM15-depleted cells display impaired cell migration and reduced focal adhesion disassembly rates.

  2. TRIM15 may function as a tumor suppressor of colon cancer.

  3. Downregulation of TRIM11 (show TRIM11 Proteins) and TRIM15 enhanced virus release suggesting that these proteins contribute to the endogenous restriction of retroviruses in cells.

TRIM15 Protein Profile

Protein Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to the cytoplasm. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, but their biological validity has not been determined.
