Application Details

Application Notes: Approved: Peptide-ELISA (1:64000), WB (1 - 3 μg/mL)

Usage: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Western blot: In transfected MCF7 transiently expressing Human UGT8 a band of approx. 65kD is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected MCF7. The calculated molecular size is 61.5kD according to NP_003351.2. Recommended concentration, 1-3 μg/mL. Preliminary experiments gave an approx 50kD band in Human -Brain lysates and 48KDa in Rat Brain lysates after 1 μg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 61.5kD according to NP_003351.2. The observed band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
