- Background
- In the mouse only the transmembrane form of CD16 is reported to exist, which is expressed on macrophages, NK cells, granulocytes, myeloid precursors, and subpopulations of T lymphocytes. CD32 is primarily expressed on cells of the myeloid lineage and also on mature B lymphocytes.Synonyms: CD16a, FCG3, FCGR3A, Fc gamma receptor IIB, Fc-gamma RIII, Fc-gamma RIII-alpha, Fc-gamma RIIIa, Fc-gamma-RIIB, FcR mouse Seroblock, FcRII, FcRIII, FcRIIIa, Fcgr2, IGFR3, IgG Fc receptor III-2, Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-A, Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B, Ly-17
