Clone 38
Isotype IgG2a
Characteristics The antibody detects: Human CD11a (LFA-1)
Alternative Name CD11a/LFA-1a (ITGAL Antibody Abstract)
Background CD11a, also known as leukocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), represents the 180 kDa integrin L subunit which combines with the CD18 2 integrin subunit to form the L2 integrin heterodimer. It is expressed on lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages and is upregulated on activated T cells. CD11a/LFA-1 mediates adhesion of lymphocytes to vascular endothelium and is involved in costimulation.
Pathways
Application Notes Working Dilution:
FACS: 10 µL/10^6 cells
Representative data are included in this product insert.

Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Restrictions For Research Use only
Buffer Product is supplied as 100 tests in 1.0 mL of PBS / NaN3.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Protect conjugated products from light.
Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.
Storage 4 °C
