Clone RFT-8
Isotype IgG1
Characteristics The antibody detects: Human CD8
Purification Purified
Background CD8 is a 32 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed as either a CD8 homodimer or CD8 heterodimer. It is expressed on the cytotoxic/suppressor subpopulation of peripheral T cells. CD8 functions primarily as a coreceptor with MHC Class I-restricted TCR's in antigen recognition.
Research Area Immunology, Adaptive Immunity, Hematopoietic Progenitors, CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Working Dilution:
FACS: 1 µg/10^6 cells
Representative data are included in this product insert.

Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Sample Volume 1 mL
Restrictions For Research Use only
Buffer Product is supplied as 0.1 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.0.
Preservative Azide free
Handling Advice Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.
Storage 4 °C
