Immunogen Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human RFP2
Sequence KVKEFFEKLQ HTLDQKKNEI LSDFETMKLA VMQAYDPEIN KLNTILQEQR
Predicted Reactivity Mouse :100 %,   Rat :100 %,   Sumatran orangutan :100 %,   Human :100 %,   Bovine :90 %,
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against RFP2. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.
Purification Protein A purified
Alternative Name RFP2
Background The protein encoded by RFP2 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies near the nucleus, but its function is unknown. RFP2 is located on chromosome 13 within the minimal deletion region for B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Molecular Weight 45 kDa
Gene ID 10206
NCBI Accession NP_434698, NM_052811
UniProt O60858
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Cell Cycle, Transcription Factors
Application Notes Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
