Immunogen Peptide with sequence PTAESEAKVKTC, from the N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_060121.3, NP_001128303.1, NP_001128302.1, NP_001128304.1.
Blocking Peptide Blocking peptide for this product available: ABIN370383
Specificity This antibody is expected to recognise both reported isoforms. Variants ( NP_060121.3, NP_001128303.1, NP_001128302.1) encode the same isofom.
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name AHI1 / Jouberin (AHI1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: AHI1, AHI-1, DKFZp686J1653, FLJ14023, FLJ20069, JBTS3, ORF1, dJ71N10.1, Abelson helper integration site, jouberin, Ahi-1 isoform I, OTTHUMP00000017263, OTTHUMP00000017264, OTTHUMP00000017265, contatins SH3 and WD40 domains
Gene ID 54806
NCBI Accession NP_001128303, NP_001128302, NP_060121, NP_001128304
Pathways
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 22 kDa band in Human Brain lysates after 0.1 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 137 kDa according to NP_060121.3. The 22 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
