Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Approx. 75 kDa band observed in purified membranes of Rat insulinoma cell line RIN14B (calculated MW of 48.4 kDa according to NP_033957.1). Data were published by El-Kouhen K and Morisset J, Int J Endocrinol. 2009,2009:875167, PMID: 20011057. The observed molecular weight also corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Morisset et al J Histochem Cytochem. 2003 Nov,51(11):1501-13, PMID: 14566022). Data obtained from antibodies from a previous goat. Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 µg/mL.
IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Pancreas shows staining of the islets of Langerhans. Recommended concentration: 4-6 µg/mL. Immunocytochemsitry/Immunofluorescence: This antibody has been successfully used in ICC/IF for RIN-14B cells as described in the following paper: El-Kouhen et al, Pancreas. 2010 Mar,39(2):127-34, PMID: 19959964 and for rat pancreatic stellate cells as described in: Berna et al, J Biol Chem. 2010 Dec 10,285(50):38905-14, PMID: 20843811.
