Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-TAKQDDPKQQ, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_055747.1.
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name Neuroligin 1
Background Synonyms: NLGN1, KIAA1070, MGC45115, neuroligin 1, OTTHUMP00000211275, OTTHUMP00000211276
Gene ID 22871
NCBI Accession NP_055747.1
Research Area Neurology
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 150 kDa band in Human Brain lysates after 1 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 92.0 kDa according to NP_055747.1. The 150 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
