Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-KNVAEPGRGQQKHFQ, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_067020.2.
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name WFDC1 / PS20
Background Synonyms: WFDC1, WAP four-disulfide core domain 1, PS20, WAP four-disulfide core domain 1 homolog (mouse), prostate stromal protein ps20
Gene ID 58189
NCBI Accession NP_067020.2
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 75 kDa band in Human Liver, Placenta and Prostate lysates after 0.03 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 23.9 kDa according to NP_067020.2. The 75 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
