Binding Specificity: pSer197

Specificity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site. AFX (phospho-Ser197) antibody detects endogenous levels of AFX only when phosphorylated at serine 197.

Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography.

Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human AFX around the phosphorylation site of serine 197 (A-A-SP-M-D).

Application Notes: Western Blot: 1/500-1/1000. Immunofluorescence: 1/100-1/200. Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 1/50-1/100.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
