Purification
- Immunoaffinity purified
-
Immunogen
-
An 18 amino acid peptide sequence near the NH2-terminus of rat brain dopamine transporter coupled to KLH (1). This region is presumably the cytoplasmic domain.

Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), IHC, IHC-Fr, IP, WB (1 - 10 μg/mL)
Usage: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. Western Blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. An antibody raised against a similar peptide has been shown to react with a broad 80kD band in rat striatum and not cerebellum. Rat DAT contains various carbohydrate moieties and neuraminidase and N-Glycanase treatment reduces its molecular weight to about 55kD. Immunoprecipitation: 2-10 μg. Immunohistochemistry: 2-10 μg/mL on frozen sections of tissues fixed with 4 % paraformaldehyde. ELISA: 0.5-1.0 μg/mL using 1 μg/mL of DAT control peptide per well. -
