- Background
- CD245 is a 220-250 kD transmembrane glycoprotein, also known as p220/240, DY12 or DY35. It is expressed on peripheral blood lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets. The expression level of CD245 on lymphocytes can be upregulated after 3-7 days stimulation with PHA. It has been reported that CD245 is involved in signal transduction and costimulation of T and NK cells.
