This antibody is specific to the human antigen E-selectin (ELAM-1, 115 kDa). The ligand is expressed on neutrophils and may function as an earlypart in neutrophil binding to the endothelium. Also recognizes porcine E-selectin.

Suitable use for studies in a wide range of cell interactions in the vasculature together with diagnostic implications, and this antibody works in ELISA, immunohistology and also inhibits cellular adhesion.
