This antisera is monospecific to B-2 Microglobulin. Virtually no crossreactivity to other human proteins
Cross-Reactivity (Details)
This human TIE2 sequence is 100 % conserved in rat, mice, and 94 % bovine Tie-2. The peptide is specific for Tie-2 as no significant sequence homology is seem with Tie-1.
Purification
Affinity chromatography purified
Immunogen
TIE2 antibody was raised in rabbit using an 18 amino acid peptide from human TIE2 as the immunogen.

TEK
(TEK Tyrosine Kinase, Endothelial (TEK))
Alternative Name
TIE2
Background
The family of receptor tyrosine kinases TIE1 and TIE 2 or Tek has been identified in vascular endothelium and hematopoietic cells. Ties may represent the earliest endothelial cell lineage marker and may regulate the endothelial cell proliferation, differentiation, and proper patterning during vasculogenesis.
