Specificity: SM2262P recognises the CD62P cell surface antigen, a 140 kDa glycoprotein also known as P-selectin. Clone Psel.KO.2.12 is reported to inhibit P-Selectin-dependent adhesion between HL60 cells and P-Selectin transfected COS cells (1). We recommend the use of SM2262LE for this purpose.

Purification: Affinity Chromatography on Protein G

Immunogen: CD62P transfected 300.19 cells. Remarks: Spleen cells from immunised CD62P knock-out mice (Strain C57/B6) were fused with cells of the NS-1 myeloma cell line.

Application Notes: Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of 1/50-1/100 diluted antibody to label 106 cells in 100 μL. Immunohistology on Frozen Sections. Immunoprecipitation.
