Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))
    Specificity
Mab 2D7 specifically recognizes keratin K13 (54 kD polypeptide, formerly designated cytokeratin 13) present in non-cornifying squamous epithelia and in transitional epithelium of the bladder. Epidermal cell culture studies have shown that keratin K13 expression is involved in either the number or the strength of desmosomal contacts between suprabasal cells of stratified squamous epithelia. Reacts with Human, most mammals incl. mouse, rat, rabbit.
