Immunogen This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 724~754 amino acids from the C-terminal region of Human ALDH1L1. Genename: ALDH1L1
Specificity This antibody recognizes ALDH1L1.
Purification Prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS
Alternative Name ALDH1L1 / FTHFD
Background ALDH1L1 catalyzes the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate, NADP, and water to tetrahydrofolate, NADPH, and carbon dioxide. The encoded protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family and is responsible for formate oxidation in vivo. Deficiencies in this gene can result in an accumulation of formate and subsequent methanol poisoning.
Alternate names: 10-formyltetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase, Aldehyde dehydrogenase family 1 member L1
Gene ID 10840, 9606
UniProt O75891
Application Notes ELISA: 1/1,000. Western blotting: 1/50-1/100. Immunohistochemistry: 1/50-1/100. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
