The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-STAT5A antibody (ABIN361965) specifically detects STAT5A in WB and IHC.
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
The antibody detects endogenous level of STAT5A only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 694.
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr694 (D-G-Y (p) -V-K) derived from Human STAT5A. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
Western blotting: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100

Target
STAT5A
(Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 5A (STAT5A))
Alternative Name

Background
Carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. Binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription.
