Immunogen Peptide from N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_008960.2 Genename: STMN2
Sequence AKTAMAYKEK -C
Specificity This antibody detects Stathmin-2 / STMN2 at N-term.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Species reactivity (expected):Mouse, Rat, Dog, Cow.
Species reactivity (tested):Human.
Purification Ammonium Sulphate Precipitation followed by Antigen Affinity Chromatography using the immunizing peptide
Alternative Name Stathmin-2 / STMN2 (STMN2 Antibody Abstract)
Background Stathmin-2, also known as SCG10, is a neuronal growth-associated protein which shares significant amino acid sequence similarity with the phosphoprotein stathmin. This protein may play a role in neuronal differentiation and in modulating membrane interaction with the cytoskeleton during neurite outgrowth.Synonyms: SCG10, SCGN10, Stathmin 2, Superior cervical ganglion-10 protein
Gene ID 11075
NCBI Accession NP_008960
UniProt Q93045
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western Blot: 0.1-1 μg/mL. Approx 23 kDa band observed in Human Brain and HumanEpidermoid Carcinoma A431 cell lysates (calculated MW of 20.3 kDa according toNP_008960.2).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
