Immunogen This MMP10 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 394-423 AA from the C-terminal region of human MMP10.
Clone RB2022
Isotype Ig
Specificity This MMP10 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human MMP10.
Purification This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name MMP10
Background Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMPs are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases. MMP10 degrades proteoglycans and fibronectin. The gene is part of a cluster of MMP genes which localize to chromosome 11q22.3.

anti-Matrix Metallopeptidase 10 (Stromelysin 2) (MMP10) (C-Term), (AA 394-423) antibody Western blot analysis of hMMP10-R409 (ABIN390134) in mouse spleen tissue lysates (35 µg/lane). MMP10 (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody.
anti-Matrix Metallopeptidase 10 (Stromelysin 2) (MMP10) (C-Term), (AA 394-423) antibody (2) Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. BC = breast carcinoma. HC = hepatocarcinoma
