Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: URP2 Antibody Detection limit dilution: 1/2000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Approx 75 kDa band observed in Human Peripheral BloodMononucleocytes lysates (calculated MW of 75.5 kDa according to NP_113659.3).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: URP2 is an essential element for platelet integrin activation in hemostasis and thrombosis. Platelets lacking the adhesion plaque protein URP2 cannot activate integrins despite normal Talin expression. As a direct consequence, URP2 deficiency results in severe bleeding and resistance to arterial thrombosis.
