Western Blotting (WB), ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p))
Purpose
Rabbit Anti-Human WNT1
Specificity
DS-PB-02787 specifically recognizes Wnt-1, formerly known as int-1, a 343 amino acid non- glycosylated secreted protein associated with the extracellular matrix, involved in normal embryonic development and particularly linked with breast cancer. Wnt-1, which signals through binding to the Frizzled family of transmembrane receptors, was originally identified as a proto-oncogene implicated in carcinomas induced by the mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV). Wnt-1 belongs to a family of Wnt genes involved in the dorso-ventricular development of the mesoderm during embryogenesis, with a restricted temporal and spatial pattern of expression.

Purification
Purified
Immunogen
Antisera to human Wnt-1 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
