DS-PB-00855 is specific for human G-CSF (Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor), a 19.6kDa haematopoietic growth factor and member of the CSF family of hormone-like glycoproteins, which stimulates the development of bone marrow progenitor cells and in particular those committed to neutrophil lineage. The ability of G-CSF to stimulate the proliferation/differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenitor cells and survival of mature neutrophils, has resulted in G-CSF becoming an important factor in patient treatment following allogeneic (bone marrow/stem cell) transplantation and chemotherapy.
Characteristics

Purification
Purified
Immunogen
Antisera to human G-CSF were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography.
Reconstitute with 0.1 mL distilled water. For long term storage the addition of 0.09 % sodium azide is recommended. NB. For functional studies do not add azide.
