Immunogen This TM173 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 311-340 AA from the C-terminal region of human TM173.
Clone RB24462
Isotype Ig
Specificity This TM173 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 318~348 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TM173.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background Acts as a facilitator of innate immune signaling. Able to activate both NF-kappa-B and IRF3 transcription pathways to induce expression of type I interferon (IFN-alpha and IFN-beta) and exert a potent anti-viral state following expression. May be involved in translocon function, the translocon possibly being able to influence the induction of type I interferons. May be involved in transduction of apoptotic signals via its association with the major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II). Mediates death signaling via activation of the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway.
Synonyms: Mediator of IRF3 activation, hMITA, Stimulator of interferon genes protein, hSTING, Transmembrane protein 173, STING, MITA, TMEM173
