- Mouse
- Clonality
- Monoclonal
- Application
- Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Flow Cytometry (FACS)
- Specificity
- This antibody reacts with CD98, a heterodimer containing a disulfide-linked glycosyalyted heavy chain and a nonglycosylated light chain. The heavy chain - a type II integral membrane protein - conatains a 50-81 amino acid NH2- terminal cytoplasmic domain, a large extracellular domain, and a single transmembrane sequence. CD 98 can be detected on activated B cells and monocytes.
