Immunogen Polyclonal antibody produced in rabbits immunizing with a synthetic peptide corresponding to C-terminal residues of human ZNF24 (Zinc finger protein 24)
Alternative Name ZNF24 (ZNF24 Antibody Abstract)
Background ZNF24 (Zinc finger protein 24) may function as a transcription factor. ZNF24 seems to repress transcription. ZNF24 is expressed in many tissues except in heart. ZNF24 is phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR. ZNF24 belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. ZNF24 contains 4 C2H2-type zinc fingers and 1 SCAN box domain.
Synonyms: KOX17 (Zinc finger protein KOX17), ZNF191 (Zinc finger protein 191), ZSCAN3 (Zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 3 ), RSG-A (Retinoic acid suppression protein A)
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Transcription Factors
Restrictions For Research Use only
