EGFR Antibody Abstract)
EGFR is type I receptor tyrosine kinase with sequence homology to erbB-1, -2, -3 -4 orHER-1, -2, -3 -4. It binds to Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), transforming GrowthFactor-a (TGFa),Heparin-binding EGF (HB-EGF), emphiregulin, betacellulin and epiregulin. EGFR isoverexpressedin tumors of breast, brain, bladder, lung, gastric, head & neck, esophagus, cervix, vulva, ovary, and endometrium. It is predominantly present in squamous cellcarcinomas. Alternate Names: Anti-EGFR antibody, Anti-Avian erythroblastic leukemia viral (verbb) oncogene homologantibody, Anti-EGF R antibody, Anti-EGFR antibody, Anti-Epidermal growth factorreceptor antibody, Anti-erbb 1 antibody, Anti-Erbb antibody, Anti-Erbb1 antibody,Anti-mENA antibody, Anti-Oncogene ERBB antibody, Anti-Receptor tyrosine proteinkinase ErbB1 antibody, Anti-Urogastrone antibody, Anti-wa2 antibody, Anti-Wa5antibody.

10 mM PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2 % BSA, Sodium Azide
Precaution of Use
WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Do not freeze.
