  7. Using free-energy simulations, the study shows that rev-erbA-alpha-induced DNA deformation preferentially occurs by induced fit rather than by conformational selection, even though the DNA is only slightly distorted in the complex.

  8. Rev-erbalpha is a novel regulator of hepatic stellate cell transdifferentation

  9. apoA-IV (show APOA4 ELISA Kits) inhibits hepatic gluconeogenesis by decreasing Glc-6-Pase (show G6PC ELISA Kits) and PEPCK (show PEPCK ELISA Kits) gene expression through NR1D1.

  10. Rev-erbalpha bestows protection against mycobacterial infection by direct gene repression of IL10 (show IL10 ELISA Kits) and thus provide a novel target in modulating macrophage microbicidal properties.

  2. REV-ERBalpha regulates the inflammatory response of macrophages through the suppression of IL-6 (show IL6 ELISA Kits) expression.

  3. direct competition between Rev-erbalpha and ROR TFs provides a universal mechanism for self-sustained control of the molecular clock across all tissues, whereas Rev-erbalpha uses lineage-determining factors to convey a tissue-specific epigenomic rhythm that regulates metabolism tailored to the specific need of that tissue.

NR1D1 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the nuclear receptor subfamily 1. The encoded protein is a ligand-sensitive transcription factor that negatively regulates the expression of core clock proteins. In particular this protein represses the circadian clock transcription factor aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator-like protein 1 (ARNTL). This protein may also be involved in regulating genes that function in metabolic, inflammatory and cardiovascular processes.
