    Background
    DNAJB4 belongs to the evolutionarily conserved DNAJ/HSP40 protein family. Subunit structure of this protein is homodimer. The C-terminal section interacts with the C-terminal tail of OPRM1. DNAJB4 interacts also with SDIM1. Recombinant human DNAJB4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
