- Background
- RAB3B, member of RAS oncogene family, is a highly homologous monomeric GTPase that may play a role in endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport. The transport of newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to various stacks of the Golgi complex and to secretory vesicles involves at each stage the movement of carrier vesicles. Recombinant human RAB3B protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Ras-related protein Rab-3B, RAB3B member RAS oncogene family, Rab-3B, Rab 3B. NCBI no.: NP_002858
