The Mouse Monoclonal anti-Zona Radiata Protein antibody (Clone MN-7F2) (ABIN108741) specifically detects Zona Radiata Protein in ELISA and WB.
The antibody is reactive with Atlantic Salmon samples.
Quick Overview for Zona Radiata Protein antibody (ABIN108741)
Target
Zona Radiata Protein
Reactivity
Atlantic Salmon
Host
Mouse
Clonality
Monoclonal
Conjugate
Un-conjugated
Application
ELISA, Western Blotting (WB)
Clone
MN-7F2
Specificity
The monoclonal antibody MN-2B4 binds with high affinity to zona radiata proteins (Zrp) in plasma samples from Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar), reacting primarily with the b monomer. The antibody also cross-reacts with Zrp from rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus). The degree of cross-reactivity differs between species and with the methods employed.
Immunogen
Immunogen source: Purified eggshell proteins (zona radiata proteins and small amounts of zona pellucida proteins) from Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar).
The monoclonal antibody MN-7F2 works well in both ELISA and western blot. Since assay conditions vary, the optimum dilution should be determined for each particular application. Note: The antibody is dissolved in a buffer containing BSA, and is therefore not recommended to use for coating. Normal dilution range: ELISA: 1:100 - 1: 5000. Western blot: 1:100 - 1: 1000
