The Mouse Monoclonal anti-TNNI3 antibody (Clone C5) (ABIN112500) specifically detects TNNI3 in WB and EIA.
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse, Cow, Rabbit, Fish, Chicken and Amphibian samples.
Reacts with Troponin I from cardiac and skeletal muscle. The antibody is specific for an epitope between amino acids 186-192 of cardiac Troponin I. It is reactive with helix cardiac and skeletal isoforms.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background
Troponin I is 1 of 3 subunits that constitute the troponin complex which plays an important role in the regulation of skeletal and cardiac muscle contraction. It is presented in cardiac tissue by a single isoform with a molecular weight of 29 kDa and is known as a specific marker for cardiac tissue damage.Synonyms: TNNC1, TNNI3
