The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-CHRM3 antibody (ABIN112905) specifically detects CHRM3 in WB and IHC (fro).
The antibody is reactive with Human and Rat samples.
Specific for the C-term of the M3 receptor (580-589): 100 % . Crossreactivity to full receptor 70 %, M1 (451-460), M2 (457-466), M4 (469-478) and M5 (519-531) < 0.01 %.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide M3 (580-589) covalently attached to a carrier protein.

Reactivity: Human
WB
Host: Rabbit

unconjugated
Application Notes
Immunocytochemical: this product has been found to stain PLP fixed rat brain sectionsknown to express the muscarinic M3 receptor using ABC techniques at a dilution of1: 2,500. Western immunoblotting: successful by using whole rat brain homogenerate at a dilutionof 1: 500. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Storage Comment
Store vial at 2-8 °C prior to restoration. For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20 °C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid.
This receptor mediates various cellular responses, including inhibition of adenylate cyclase, breakdown of phosphoinositides and modulation of potassium channels through the action of G proteins. Expression of this receptor has been reported in brain, eye, and heart. ESTs have been isolated from brain, colon, fetus, lung, and prostate libraries.Synonyms: CHRM3
