Application Notes: ElISA: (Indirect): To detect hAPRIL by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of atleast 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hAPRIL. (Sandwich): To detect hAPRIL by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human APRIL (PP1200B) as a detectionantibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hAPRIL. Western Blot: To detect hAPRIL by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hAPRIL is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.

APRIL stimulates B and T cell proliferation, triggers humoral immune responses, activates NF kB, and induces cell death.
