Netrin-4 inhibits proliferation of a variety of human tumor cells. Netrin-4 also induces proliferation, migration, adhesion, tube formation and survival of human lymphatic endothelial cells and seems to function as a lymphangiogenic factor contributing to tumor dissemination.
