Specificity: This antibody recognises the rat CD200 cell surface antigen, also known as OX-2. This product is routinely tested by flow cytometry on rat thymocytes.

Purification: Affinity chromatography on Protein G

Immunogen: Rat thymocyte membrane glycoproteins. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line.

Application Notes: Flow Cytometry: 1/50 - 1/100, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL, we recommend the use of SM294Afor use in functional studies. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections.

Background: CD200 is a type I membrane glycoprotein, expressed on rat thymocytes, neurons, follicular dendritic cells, endothelium and at low levels on some B cells and smooth muscle cells.
