    Purification

    Immunoaffinity Chromatography.

    Immunogen

    Synthetic peptide - KLH conjugated.
  • Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry with formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues: 11 μg/mL. Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100 °C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
    Other applications not tested.

    Background

GPR43 is classified as a Carboxylic Acid GPCR. The location of this receptor in the immune system is suggestive of potential roles in immune cell function and hematopoiesis. GPR43 has been reported primarily in immune cells including monocytes and neutrophils. An EST has been isolated from a human pancreatic library. Ligand: Short chain carboxylic acids, such as acetate.Synonyms: Free fatty acid receptor 2, G-protein coupled receptor 43, GPR43
