Characteristics
-
Description: Our Anti-Mortalin/GRP75 mouse monoclonal primary antibody is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N52A/42. It detects human, mouse, and rat Mortalin/GRP75, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, IP, WB.
Manufacturer Comment: We produce our Mortalin/GRP75 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from hybridoma clone N52A/42. It is great in IHC, ICC, IP, WB and is purified by Protein A chromatography.
-
Purification
- Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Synonyms: Stress-70 protein, mitochondrial (75 kDa glucose-regulated protein) (GRP-75) (Heat shock 70 kDa protein 9) (Mortalin) (Peptide-binding protein 74) (PBP74) (p66 MOT)
Target Description: Mitochondrial stress-70 protein or Mortalin/GRP75 is encoded by the gene HSPA9. Mortalin is a chaperone protein and plays a role in cell proliferation, stress response and mitochondria maintenance. It is widely expressed in tissues in mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, plasma membrane and cytoplasmic vesicles. Diseases associated with this gene include Even-Plus Syndrome and Sideroblastic Anemia 4.
