Characteristics: Two chickens were immunized with 2 peptides (sequences derived from bovine complement C3d -- KSSAYAAFQYRC and KEKNRWEEPNQKLC) that were conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. This antibody is not affinity purified.
